Automatically set stretch value for linepaths based on spline length
If path is being used to just do a complex deform on a object that takes up the entire path, such as megashapeline and not for a race track type use. The object needs to occupy the full extents of the path even if the path is stretched. So the stretch value needs to monitor the spline length. Minor issue though.
When you say the path s ‘strecthed’ what do you mean?

This is assuming your intentions are to use path deform with lineshapes to take advantage of the spline based deforming capabilities. Wouldn't make sense for closed loop paths.
Assume you have a mesh that is set to 50% percent on the path. Then set "Stretch' so that it matches the entire path you create. All is well with bending it in any way you want. But when the user pulls on one of the knots causing the spline path length to increase (or decrease).
The stretch value needs to be adjusted to match the extents. Can be done with a separate script of course. but seems a "stretch to match spline length" in the spline code would be more efficient.
